Artifact and domain farming are going to get much faster in Genshin Impact if the latest leaks are anything to go by.

HoYoverse previously announced many quality-of-life changes coming to Genshin Impact‘s Version 4.2. It was headlined by the Quick Challenge Weekly Bosses, which will now allow you to play the bosses without needing to complete story quests.

For updates following 4.2, leaks have already outlined that some of the current frustrations expressed by players, like a lack of endgame in Genshin Impact, will be addressed. Now another batch of requested QoL has been leaked, it claims changes to domain spawn points and faster ways to upgrade artifacts.

The new QoL will let you upgrade artifacts faster in Genshin Impact.

The leak was first shared by Lady Nilou on X (formerly Twitter). The original post is now deleted, but it was shared on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit.

As per leaks, in the version following 4.2, when replaying a domain, instead of spawning near an entrance and having to run your way through to the Domain Key, you’ll start right in front of the Domain Key.

Other QoL mentioned in the leak include:

  • Removing the pop-up window whenever upgrading artifacts, characters, and weapons.
  • More materials and EXP books can be added to upgrade weapons, artifacts, and characters.
  • Artifacts can now be upgraded from level 4 > 8 > 12 > 16 > 20.

It is always worth keeping in mind that these are leaks, and unless HoYoverse themselves announce these details, all the information should be taken with a pinch of salt.

That’s all you need to know about all the alleged QoL improvements coming to Genshin Impact. We’ll update if and when they’re made official.
