In the Armored Core franchise, endings were always a big deal among the fans, and it’s one of the few mecha games that puts so much emphasis on decision-making. Armored Core 6 is no exception to the rule, and this has many fans of the game wondering how to unlock each ending.

Here’s a rundown on each of the endings in Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon, and the conditions to unlock each of them.

How many endings are in Armored Core 6

Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon has three separate endings. The Bad Ending titled “The Fires of Raven,” the Good Ending titled “Liberator of Rubicon,” and the True Ending titled “Alea Iacta Est.”

To unlock each of them, there are certain choices you need to take in the Decision Missions, as well as certain conditions that we we’ve detailed below. Beware, because there are SPOILERS AHEAD.

How to unlock Bad Ending in Armored Core 6

To unlock the Bad Ending in Armored Core 6, you need to make the following choices:

  • In Chapter 3 – Mission 22: Destroy the Special Forces Craft
  • In Chapter 4 – Mission 32: Ambush the Vespers
  • In Chapter 5 – Mission 37: Intercept the Corporate Forces

If you have met these three requirements, by the time you end the game, you will witness the Bad Ending titled “The Fires of Raven.”

How to unlock Good Ending in Armored Core 6

To unlock the Good Ending in Armored Core 6, you need to take the following choices during Mission Decisions:

  • In Chapter 3 – Mission 21: Eliminate the Enforcement Squads
  • In Chapter 4 – Mission 31: Intercept the Redguns
  • In Chapter 5 – Mission 38: Eliminate “Cinder” Carla

If you are playing your second playthrough (in New Game +), there are two additional conditions to unlock the good ending:

  • In New Game + Chapter 1 – Mission 6: Attack the Damn Complex, when given the option, choose “Refuse,” and then complete the mission.
  • In New Game + Chapter 3 – Mission 19: Prevent Corporate Salvage of New Tech

If you have fulfilled the conditions, by the time you end the game, you will witness the Good Ending titled “Liberator of Rubicon.”

How to unlock True Ending in Armored Core 6

To unlock the True Ending of Armored Core 6, players need to play the game for a third time in New Game++ mode. Then, when making decisions, they need to make the following choices:

  • In Chapter 1 – Mission 6: Attack the Damn Complex, when given the option, choose “Accept.”
  • In Chapter 3 – Mission 19: Prevent Corporate Salvage of New Tech
  • In Chapter 3 – Mission 21: Eliminate the Enforcement Squads
  • In Chapter 4 – Mission 26-B: Coral Export Denial
  • In Chapter 4 – Mission 33-B: Eliminate V.III

If you have followed these choices, by the time you end the game, you will witness the True Ending titled “Liberator of Rubicon.”
