How to rent cars in Forza Motorsport

From GT classics to state-of-the-art hypercars, Forza Motorsport has many vehicles to pick from. However, buying the game’s best cars will require grinding to earn credits. So if you’re looking to bypass the grind and test out cars before making your purchase, here’s how to rent cars in Forza Motorsport.

Forza Motorsport revamps Turn 10’s racing simulation series with an entry that introduces a new car progression system and new modes with plenty of refinements under the hood. The game features around 500 cars and 20 tracks at launch, with more coming in the near future.

Speaking of cars, the game displays impressive variety across the board. There’s a solid mix of classics and track toys with some attractive new additions such as the 2023 Cadillac V-Series.R. But hopping behind the wheel of the best cars isn’t easy as credits can be hard come by in Forza Motorsport.

Grinding until you can afford your dream car can be a cathartic experience, but there’s an even quicker way to try out any car in the game.

Forza Motorsport: How to rent cars

Renting cars in Forza Motorsport is limited to specific game modes such as Rivals, Free play, and Featured Multiplayer. You can rent any car before firing up a race in Free play while modes like Featured Multiplayer will suggest cars based on event requirements. It’s worth noting that you can only rent a car for one race at a time in Forza Motorsport, but you can always rent it again for a future race.

To rent a car, go into the Select Car menu and pick one of the suggested cars or click the Buy or Rent Cars option. After selecting your preferred car, press A to enter the buy menu before selecting the Rent option.

All cars can be rented for free. However, no upgrades can be installed on rented cars, and driving them doesn’t earn any CXP.
