Fortnite is set to make its way back to iOS, but there’s a catch. So here’s everything you need to know about when Fortnite will be back on iOS.

Back in 2020, Apple decided to remove Fortnite from iOS, which led to a huge legal dispute and caused a lot of players to lose access to their favorite Battle Royale.

While you can still play the game on Apple devices via cloud gaming services like GeForce NOW, many wonder when the game will be available on the platform. Here’s everything we know about Fortnite’s return to Apple’s storefront.

When is Fortnite returning to iOS?

On May 25, 2024, Fortnite confirmed that the game will make its way to iOS in the second half of 2025. However, the catch here is that it’ll only be released in the UK, and we don’t have a specific release date either.

“Shoutout to the UK for passing a new competition law,” said the devs in the online announcement, as the game is set to make its way onto the platform after a rather long legal dispute. Their introduction in the UK was first anticipated when Epic announced the passing of a new law in the EU back on April 29, 2024.

With the Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max capable of running AAA titles, Fortnite should run smoothly on the device. That aside, it’s unlikely that the game will be too demanding in terms of performance while running on other iOS devices.

That’s all we have for you about Fortnite coming back to iOS devices. We’ll update this section once more information about the same is available.
