The Rock teases major Fortnite role ahead of Chapter 3

With Fortnite Season 8 coming to an end, popular celebrity Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has teased his arrival to the battle royale in a new video ahead of the Chapter 3 launch.
Fortnite is known for its various crossovers, as we’ve seen the arrival of characters like Nick Fury and Naruto, as well as some popular real-life figures like Lebron James and Ariana Grande.
Now, it seems that Epic Games might be planning to bring in another major celebrity to the battle royale, as Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson appears to be teasing his arrival in Fortnite.
The Rock set to play Fortnite’s The Foundation

In a video posted on Twitter, The Rock was showcasing his energy drink, ZOA. However, what caught the attention of Fortnite fans was Johnson name-dropping The Foundation NPC.
This is a character who is the leader of a group known as the ‘The Seven,’ that have been in the game since Chapter 1 and were also a part of the Fortnite x Batman crossover comic book.
The Rock’s fridge contained The Foundation’s helmet in plain view. He also used some key Fortnite terms like Zero Point, Higher Ground, and Foundation.

ZOA delivers healthy energy when you get to that ZERO POINT so you’re always taking the HIGHER GROUND.
Because drinking ZOA, will always give you the strongest FOUNDATION in the UNIVERSE!

Ever since this tweet went live, Fortnite fans have been speculating about whether or not this confirms The Rock’s arrival in the game. While some players are excited, others are a bit disappointed that The Foundation is a crossover character.
“I low-key wish The Foundation wasn’t The Rock,” tweeted one user. “I wanted him to be an original character.”
Although extremely likely, it’s worth keeping in mind that Dwayne Johnson hasn’t officially confirmed his arrival in Fortnite just yet.
It’s entirely possible that this could just be part of a joke. Hopefully, we’ll get an official announcement from him or Epic Games soon enough, and we’ll be sure to update you when that happens.
