To level up tools and create new structures, players will need to track down and mine rare resources that are located in entirely different biomes.

Where to find Blast Cores in LEGO Fortnite

To find Blast Cores in LEGO Fortnite, you’ll need to head to the desert biome, also known as Dry Valley. Once you’re there, keep your eye peeled for rock formations as they are likely entrances to caves. But before venturing in, make sure to stock up on items that provide heat resistance such as Snowberry Milkshakes or the Cool-Headed Charm.

After heading inside, look for Blaster mobs as killing them will provide you with Blast Cores. These monsters will only pop up if you get near enough and will immediately begin chasing after you. You’ll need to hack them down quickly because they will explode within a few seconds causing a ton of damage.

It’s important to keep scanning for threats inside these caves as they’re mostly populated by skeletons, lava rollers, and of course, plenty of lava.
