Fortnite's Sunswoon Lagoon launchpad

Fortnite’s Summer Escape has presented a new list of quests that challenges players to look for a recently added launchpad. Here’s everything you need to know on how to find the hidden Sunswoon Lagoon launchpad in Fortnite.

Fortnite’s Summer Escape event is still in full swing for another week and has challenged players with a task that has become a headache: using the new Sunswoon Lagoon launchpad. Even though the quest sounds quite straightforward, its location isn’t marked on the map and will require you to survive in the middle of a hot-drop location.

Launchpads have been an exciting feature in Fortnite’s map as early as the beginning of Chapter 1. Since then, these platforms have been used strategically by players to be tossed up into the air, find better locations, and even redeploy their Gliders if they’re high enough.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 has introduced a new launchpad at Sunswoon Lagoon, and has challenged players to use it in exchange for 30,000 experience points. Here’s where to find the hidden location of the Sunswoon Lagoon launchpad.

Where to find the Sunswoon Lagoon launchpad in Fortnite

To complete Fortnite’s Summer Escape quest, you’ll need to locate the Sunswoon Lagoon launchpad on top of the waterfall and use it. Since the area has become a hot-spot location, finding the launchpad without being shot isn’t that easy, but we’ve got you covered.

Keep in mind that if you mark this quest on Fortnite’s map, it will only lead you to Sunswoon Lagoon without specifics, but doing this will help you get to the right area. When entering Fortnite’s map, try falling at the top of the waterfalls on the southeastern edge of Sunswoon Lagoon. You can also try looking for a pink umbrella, that is conveniently placed next to the Launchpad.

Marking the quest in Fortnite’s map will only lead you to the lagoon’s generic location.

Remember that if you didn’t manage to fall on top of the waterfall, you should always try landing on higher ground. You can try aiming for the top of a mountain that’s between the plains and jungle biome, and then making your way from there.

In case you’ve never seen a launchpad before, they look like a high-tech metallic platform that works just like trampolines. To complete the mission, you’ll just need to jump on the Sunswoon Lagoon launchpad and try gliding a few meters without getting caught.
