But the expectations for the next event are growing. Players are eagerly awaiting the Summer 2023 update called Summer Escape, which promises an influx of new content. Insiders have now revealed some details, such as some quest leaks, sparking excitement and curiosity among the Fortnite community.

Fortnite Summer Update 2023 start date
According to a recent tweet from the official Fortnite Twitter account, the Summer Escape event will begin on Tuesday, July 4, 2023. Epic Games had already confirmed this in the 25.11 patch notes, though neither the devs nor the recent Twitter post have gone into detail about what the event will bring.
Fortnite Summer Escape leaked Quests & cosmetics
The Fortnite Summer Escape event is coming shortly, so there’s currently no official word on the Quests and rewards it will offer. However, Fortnite insider iFireMonkey has revealed three new Questlines for players to tackle.

- Make an Entrance
Players can also expect brand-new cosmetic skins to be added to Fortnite when the Summer Update 2023 goes live. However, iFireMonkey not only leaked the possible quests of the Summer Escape event but also published what would be some of the cosmetics of the summer event. Of course, it’s worth keeping in mind that all of this is based on leaks and speculation, so you should take it with a grain of salt.
