FF7 Rebirth Chocobos.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth has a lot of Chocobos to use in its different regions, and each one of them has a special trait that will help out Cloud and the party in their journey. Here are all the Chocobos in FF7 Rebirth, as well as where to find them.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is here, and the new open-world adventures of Avalanche now require the help of Chocobos to get through the many World Map regions. You can also customize their looks to make each one look different from the rest and even use them in minigames.

From running at full speed to climbing mountains, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth packs many Chocobos with different abilities that will unlock many secrets. Here are all the Chocobos we have found so far and how to get them in FF7 Rebirth.

All Chocobos & where to find them in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth has a different Chocobo in every region, and they will help out with traveling through its large areas. To unlock them in most cases, players will need to complete an open-world stealth activity to capture and mount them.

Here’s every Chocobo we have found so far in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth and the regions where you can unlock them:

The Grasslands: Yellow Chocobo

The Grasslands Chocobo can be unlocked by heading into Bill’s Ranch and completing an early Side Quest and race minigame. This will also net you your very first Golden Plumes and unlock the Chocoboutique to start customizing your birds.

Junon: Mountain Chocobo

The Junon region Chocobo can be unlocked by reaching Under Junon’s ranch and tackling the Chocobo hunt Junon side activity. You will need to reach the Grey Chocobo unnoticed in a stealth minigame to mount it and unlock it for the whole party.

With this Chocobo, Cloud and the party can climb the Chocobo-painted walls found in Junon, as many regional Side Quests and Activities will ask for this.

Corel: Orange Chocobo

The Orange Chocobo is unlocked when players finish all the initial Costa del Sol content. This Chocobo doesn’t have any special abilities, and it behaves the same as the Yellow one from The Grasslands.

Gongaga region: Forest Chocobo

In the Gongaga region, players can find the Green Forest Chocobo, which will jump to take you to new heights. Many Side Quests and Activities can be reached by using the Forest Chocobo, as well as secret Chests and objectives.

Cosmo Canyon region: Sky Chocobo

In the Cosmo Canyon region, players will be able to unlock the Sky Chocobo, which will jump like the Forest one but also be able to glide. As with every Chocobo, these special abilities will help players out with secrets and quest objectives.

It is advised to visit the local ranch in each region and unlock Chocobos as soon as possible.
