FIFA 23 World Cup Heroes Ultimate Team

During FIFA 23’s World Cup celebration, Ultimate Team players will have a fantastic opportunity to boost their squads with World Cup FUT Heroes.

FUT Heroes have proved to be excellent additions to Ultimate Team squads in FIFA 23. Thanks to their unique chemistry attributes and top-tier statistics, FUT Heroes have established themselves as some of the best cards in FIFA 23, alongside Icons.

The World Cup has taken over Ultimate Team, giving players an opportunity to get in on the fun. EA released boosted versions of standard FUT Heroes called World Cup FUT Heroes, and these cards are expected to dominate Ultimate Team.

Here’s everything you need to know about World Cup Heroes in FIFA 23.

FIFA 23 World Cup FUT Heroes Ultimate Team promo

World Cup FUT Heroes finally made their way to FIFA 23 as World Cup content hit Ultimate Team on November 11 and Team 2 arrived on November 18.

The focus shifted to World Cup FUT Heroes as they hit Ultimate Team packs during the Path to Glory promo. Path to Glory Team 1 will arrive on November 11, and Team 2 arrived on November 18 with two teams of World Cup FUT Heroes accompanying the Ultimate Team promo.

World Cup FUT Heroes are boosted versions of specific FUT Heroes in FIFA 23. In total, 28 FUT Heroes will receive a special World Cup item to celebrate key moments they had at previous World Cup tournaments. They will replace their Base FUT Hero version while in packs.

Interestingly enough the designs on these rare World Cup FUT Heroes are all illustrated by Marvel in a unique collaboration with EA Sports.

Unlike standard World Cup player items coming to Ultimate Team, these World Cup Heroes will be permanent within FUT 23 and not disappear when the World Cup event comes to a close.

World Cup FUT Hero FIFA 23 pre-order bonus release date

FIFA 23 players who pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition by August 21, received their guaranteed FIFA World Cup FUT Hero player on November 11.

The World Cup FUT Hero player item is of the untradeable variety, meaning you won’t be able to list it on the Transfer Market. The World Cup Hero pre-order bonus player item will be one of the 28 added to FIFA 23.

It’s important to note that while Team 1 launched on November 11, this pre-order bonus item can comprise a World Cup Hero from both Team 1 and Team 2. In other words, it is not exclusive to Team 1 which released on the same day.
