As FIFA 23 nears the end of its lifecycle, a new promo called Level Up has arrived in Ultimate Team. Here’s everything we know about FIFA 23 Level Up, from the start date to the featured players involved.

Although EA Sports FC is on the horizon, support for FIFA 23 is showing no signs of slowing down as new FUT promos keep arriving thick and fast. Team of the Season kept players occupied for well over a month, and fans then enjoyed three weeks of Shapeshifters.

Many had expected the popular FUTTIES promo to be next up, but EA had one last trick up their sleeve, as the new event titled “Level Up” arrived in FIFA 23.

Here’s everything we know about FIFA 23 Level Up, from the squad release dates to all of the Level Up players.

FIFA 23 Level Up start date

FIFA 23 Level Up got underway on Friday, July 7, 2023, after EA announced the event through an in-game loading screen earlier in the week. New FUT promos always go live on Fridays at 6 PM BST / 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET, and this new event followed suit.

EA also confirmed that Team 2 arrived on July 14, bringing another batch of boosted players.

FIFA 23 Level Up explained

FIFA 23’s Level Up promo focuses on unlocking higher-rated versions of special cards, similar to FUT Ballers from earlier in the season.

FIFA 23 Level Up follows a similar format: “Take charge of your players’ growth with FUT LEVEL UP. Each FUT LEVEL UP Player comes with an upgraded version you can unlock by completing Objectives using their FUT LEVEL UP base version.”

“These upgrades could come in the form of ratings boosts, skill move or weak foot improvements, and even Premium Chemistry—plus unique action shots to help them stand out in your squad,” explained EA.

The Level Up promo is a first for Ultimate Team fans.
