A strange EA FC 24 bug is causing an invisibility glitch for players in-game, which some are calling “paranormal activity.”

EA FC 24 has arrived, and while early access players grind Division Rivals in hopes of qualifying for the Weekend League, others are chomping at the bit to get the Ultimate Team grind underway once the game officially launches on September 29.

Unfortunately for early access players, there are a few bugs and issues with the game that will hopefully be resolved through patches, perhaps even before the full release.

One bug is even causing a player on the pitch to go invisible, as Reddit users ‘ImJoeMama’ and ‘Fllaha’ shared gameplay of the issue which the latter calls “Paranormal Activity in FC 24.”

According to ‘ImJoeMama,’ the bug is caused by a player getting a red card: “Opponent got red card, player still on field just invisible.”

As you can see in the clip, the OP’s opponent is passing back and forth to an invisible player, creating an unfair advantage.

It seems to be a common bug, as the comments are filled with players also stating that it has happened to them. One comment under the post said, “Had the same thing happen yesterday. On PS5 with cross play turned off, so it might be a bug not a cheat.”

It doesn’t seem to be system-specific, as another user said it happened to them “on PC in squad battles.”

Even in Division Rivals, a player said their “ST was invisible for the entire game,” which is obviously an issue that needs to be resolved as soon as possible. Perhaps as players highlight this issue more and more, we’ll see a patch before the official release on September 29, or perhaps the developers need to get an exorcist in to purge the paranormal activity.
