Town hubs have always been a major aspect of Diablo 4 as these are the social places where players get to upgrade their gear and interact. However, some players have pointed fingers at their least favorite town hub in the game.

Diablo 4 has been one of the most-played ARPGs in recent years as the game has gathered millions of players since its launch. Now that the title is in its third season called Season of the Malignant, the devs have started launching events as well, such as the ongoing Lunar Awakening.

A topic that has been a regular topic of discussion in the D4 community is the quality of town hubs in the game. Previously, players had discussed the best town hubs in the title and had fair candidates to name, however, now they have picked the worst one, and almost everyone agrees.

Reddit user ‘honkyfire’ started this discussion in the Diablo 4 subreddit as they claimed that Gea Kul is the “worst town hub ever created.” They asked: “Why does Gea Kul hate the game?” as they explained the reason behind their choice.

“The waypoint is in a s**t-a** position, the vendors are all over the fricken place, and even the music sucks,” added the OP as well. It was evident that they hated this place and even said that there was “nothing” in Gea Kul that was “useful” in Diablo 4.

“Plus add the long restriction of [the] slow horse when you want to go to Duriel,” added a player as others claimed that the city layout was “atrocious” in D4. Most players believed that Gea Kul was the “least convenient” town hub in the game while others sarcastically called it “Gea ‘not’ Kul.”

Gea Kul is Kehjistan’s main town hub and many missions in the game involve players traveling through this place. However, the extent of this area is larger than almost every other hub and they have been complaining about the vendors being separated by quite a significant distance.

Players continue to slam Gea Kul as the “worst city” in the game, while others want the devs to add a “favorite town” option so that they would not have to go to Gea Kul ever again.
