The Tormented version of Andariel is proving to be one of the most difficult encounters for many Diablo 4 players, and as a result, they have been trying to figure out the best ways to beat this impossible boss.

Tormented bosses are a very challenging version of normal bosses that were introduced in Diablo 4 Season 4, and Andariel has proved to be one of the most difficult among them.

What makes Andariel a challenging boss to take down is the beams that she summons throughout her phases that players have to dodge. These often do a ton of damage, with one in her last phase able to one-shot you if you’re not careful.

As a result, many players have said that merely dodging is the best way to deal with her, but others say you need to be a bit patient before you try to take her on.

“Run pits, masterwork all your gear, go back to Andy, kill her in 10 seconds before she even does any mechanics, profit,” a player shared on Reddit

Overall, this advice was sound with many others in the comments. It seemed that a lot of players tried to take Andariel on a little too early, and making sure your gear is in top-tier condition is the best way to take her down.

Additionally, players have pointed out that Heartseeker Rogue and Thorns Barb are some of the best builds you can use to take her down.

Tormented Andariel is proving to be a massive challenge for players.

Unfortunately for some Necromancer players, though, a minion build is proving to be extremely challenging.  “The first 2/3 of the fight are very consistent, but once the rotating laser appears all my minions sit in it and kill themselves,” ‘Atreides-42’ explained.

Thankfully, there is a solution to this problem as well, albeit a bit of a roundabout one. Essentially, you need to make sure that you don’t do too much damage to her at the start of the fight, and make sure you take her down before she can really enter her last phase.

This method has actually proved to be the best one against Tormented Andariel, as making sure that you pump enough damage into her before she can really activate her different phases is the most surefire way to beat her.

As one player described, “The fight is more painful if your DPS is low, she disappears 3+ times and you have to dodge much more.”

So, the next time you try and take on Andariel, run The Pit as much as you can and make sure you’ve masterworked your weapons. Once you’ve prepped properly, learn her attack patterns, and head in with a high-damage build that can take her down quickly.
