Diablo 4 players discover new build to get “unstoppable” sorcerers
BlizzardDiablo 4 players are dedicated to getting the best out of their build, and a fan has just discovered a way to make Sorcerers a force to be reckoned with even with the upcoming Season 4 changes.
Diablo 4 Season 4 is just around the corner, and even if that leaves only a month before the new itemization system shakes up the entire meta, fans are focused on getting the best builds in the game. Season of the Construct’s Unique items and Affixes inspired a player to mix and match every gear they could find until they discovered a seemingly “unstoppable” Sorcerer build.
Redditor ‘Ginga-Ninja1387’ posted on the Diablo 4 subreddit their new build and claimed that they found that certain items and Aspects had made their Sorcerer permanently “Unstoppable”. Other players recognized its potential, especially those who are testing their characters in The Gauntlet’s leaderboards.
“The Metamorphosis on the boots overrides the random teleport of Oculus. With the attacks reduce evade cooldown from The Oculus, you get your evade back lightning fast and have 7 charges of evade. This paired with Tibault’s Will means you can spam spells like crazy, evade to bring back your mana, and gain unstoppable,” explained the player.
The “unstoppable” condition is a buff that removes any Control Impairing effects or Crowd Control, and lets the character gain immunity to Stuns, Slows, Fear, and Roots. Players can commonly get this buff after activating Shrines, but there are also some skills and Aspects that grant it momentarily for all classes.
Another Diablo 4 player chimed in the post and confirmed that this combination works and that it does indeed let Sorcerers have a “permanent” unstoppable buff. “But keep in mind you only gain mana if you BECOME unstoppable. If you evade while unstoppable, you’ll only increase unstoppable duration but not gain mana. You must lose unstoppable and then gain it again,” they explained.
The OP who discovered this combination also listed which type of gear they are using for their Unstoppable Sorcerer build, and it goes as follows:
- Helm: Andariel’s Visage
- Chest: Juggernaut
- Gloves: Inner Calm or Piercing Gold
- Pants: Tibault’s Will
- Boots: Metamorphosis
- Amulet: Glacial
- Ring 1: Tal Rasha
- Ring 2: X’fal
- Weapon: The Oculus
- Offhand: Ancient Flame
- Skills: Ice Shard, Blizzard, Teleport, Frost Nova, Ice Shield, Lightning Spear.
- Enchantments: Ice Shards and Fire Bolt.
