Diablo 4 players desperate for helpful feature to prevent “punishing” respec system

Diablo 4 invites players to experiment with different builds for their favorite class. However, respecing skills is still a long and complicated endeavor in Season 2. Here’s what the Diablo 4 community had to say about it.

Diablo 4 Season 2 introduced a new horde of demonic enemies, World Bosses, and other challenges for players to put their favorite builds to the test. However, players have been pointing out that respecing their characters has been proven to be a burden. “The whole design of punishing people for respecing should go,” said Reddit user Azerate 2016.

In a post called “Loadouts are needed more than ever,” Diablo 4 fans requested Blizzard for a feature that lets players switch swiftly between builds. “Did they develop this game expecting players to only have one build and sticking to that build alone for the whole 3 months? Massive oversight,” noted Redditor Exotic_Process_8235.

Then again, some players insist that having loadouts would “kill build variety”: “What you’d think would happen with easy in-and-out build swapping is more build variety, but what actually happens is that suddenly everyone has one or two loadouts with the very best builds in the game and are only using these,” reflected Reddit user DremoPaff.

Diablo 4 fans are also asking for more practical options regarding respecing their characters, and even if loadouts aren’t considered, they would like a “Reset” button for skill points (which was available during the Diablo 4 best testing phases). “I could live without any kind of loadout system if we only had a “reset board/reset all” for Paragon,” pointed out Redditor KennedyPH.

While Diablo 4 players wait for the features that could be brought in the next Diablo 4 Season 2 patch, you can check everything on Diablo 4 next expansion leaks and what other changes fans have been requesting for Helltides.
