Diablo 4 players demand changes to “pathetic” endgame cosmetics

Diablo 4 players are calling for better cosmetics and transmog items for the endgame as they are not satisfied with the lack of options.

Blizzard have never been shy of releasing cosmetic items for Diablo 4, even though most of them are through microtransactions. With five playable classes and thousands of possible build combos in the ARPG, many would want good cosmetic options to look good.

However, some players feel that the game is lacking in that department as most of the attractive cosmetics are from the in-game shop behind a paywall. The transmog items that are found while playing the game are reportedly falling well behind the paid ones.

Reddit user ‘AstalderS’ posted about this issue they claimed that there is an “enormous cosmetics quality gap” between the shop and Battle Pass offerings. They felt that the game needed “better cosmetics” for them to start enjoying it again.

Other players also agreed with the OP, adding that none of the Uniques are “visually unique” in Diablo 4. Many felt that even though Uber Uniques are the strongest and rarest items in the game, they just look “plain and muted.”

Some have even drawn comparisons with the previous title as they said: “Diablo III had better endgame loot in terms of visual concept.” Others felt that free cosmetics needed work and the devs needed to focus on that.

“I just want to earn the loot,” said one Diablo 4 player as they did not like how transmog items were behind an in-game paywall. Some even called the free seasonal armor “pathetic” in Season of Blood.

Diablo 4 players have never been satisfied with the game’s microtransactions and cosmetics, and Blizzard are yet to address the issue. It seems like most players would like to see a fix for this issue and get better cosmetics during gameplay in the future.
