The Diablo 4 Vampiric Powers were a major highlight of Season 2. Although removed before the start of Season 3, developers have revealed that some of them are set to return and players are excited about it.

During every Diablo 4 season, the developers introduce one unique feature that is tied with the seasonal storyline. For example, the Malignant Hearts from Season 1 or the Vampiric Powers in Season 2.

Previously, the developers had mentioned that they would take some of the popular aspects of a season and try to incorporate them into the game as a permanent mechanic.

In the recent Campfire Chat announcement, Blizzard revealed that the Vampiric Powers from Season 2, would be arriving in Diablo 4 Season of the Construct. Although they haven’t mentioned which ones would return, players are already excited about the fact that these powers are making a comeback once again.

‘Prowner1’ made a post on Reddit about these Vampiric Powers coming to Diablo 4 Season 3, and players started sharing their views about it in the comments. One player commented, “Please just give me back metamorphosis, it was such a huge QoL improvement that is severely missed this season.”

While most players were excited to see these powers return, some were concerned about how these powers were going to come back to the game. ‘Aidopotatoe’ said, “If all they do is add the powers as new uniques then no, it’s a very bad sign IMO. The competition between Legendary Aspects and uniques is already pretty extreme.”

A different player mentioned that the competition was good, because if just one item was the best in a slot, itemization in the game had failed. ‘NefariousnessOk1996’ replied to the above comment and said, “To me personally, the update reads like they’ll add new Uniques that have specific Vampire Powers on it.”

The Diablo 4 Season 3 Campfire Chat is scheduled for February 29, and it will be interesting to see which Vampiric Power returns to the game. For more information about Diablo 4, be sure to check out how players reacted to a secret change in the game, and the hardest bosses so far.
