The new Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone Doom bundle is being praised by players for it’s old-school effects, leaving some wanting even more like it in the future.

Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone Season 6 is the perfect update for those who enjoy the Halloween season, with The Haunting Event set to begin on October 17, 2023.

The Season brings some great spooky collaborations, including Spawn, Ash from Evil Dead 2 in Season 6 Reloaded, and even Alucard Hellsing. On top of that, players will also be getting a Doom crossover, which brings the iconic Shotgun and Chainsaw from the FPS into MW2 and Warzone.

The Doom bundle is set to be released on October 9, but fans have already seen clips of the weapons in action, and they seem to love it.

Under CharlieIntel’s post showing off gameplay of the Doom bundle Shotgun, one comment read: “Ok this is fkn incredible.”

The Doom Shotgun and Chainsaw both feature a lower FPS and slower animations to replicate the feeling and look of the original weapons from the Doom game. The weapons even feature a lower resolution to mimic the look of the original Doom games, with a slightly more advanced muzzle flash and bullet effect.

Both the Doom Chainsaw and Shotgun even get bloodier as you get kills, showing just how much thought went into this bundle.

Clearly, players appreciate the care put in by the devs with these weapons, hoping that they do the same for future bundles: “THIS is the kind of effort we like to see put into bundles and collabs.”

Even those who aren’t fans of bundles in general are liking the nostalgia and detail behind the Doom Shotgun, “Okay that is awesome. I hate these bundles but that’s just fantastic.”
