Warzone players flock to new MW3 Optic thanks to major recoil buffs

Warzone and MW3 players are often gifted brand-new Aftermarket Part attachments through the Weekly Challenges. Players are required to complete a set amount of these challenges in order to unlock the Aftermarket Parts reward.
Some of these attachments have been very strong, so it’s certainly worth getting your hands on them. While Aftermarket Parts such as the JAK Maglift Kit completely change the behavior of a weapon, some are more subtle, and offer stat changes.
This is the case with Season 2‘s JAK Glassless Optic Aftermarket Part attachment, which provides a nice clean sight along with stat benefits.
The JAK Glassless Optic attachment improves your weapon’s firing aim stability, which is one of the most important stats in the game when it comes to staying on target. However, it does also decrease your aim down sight speed.
Players have been sharing their thoughts on this new attachment on reddit, as under Sledgehammer Games‘ official post highlighting the JAK Glassless Optic, one comment read, “Firing aim stability and a sight that’s barely more obstructive than the Mk. 3? I’m sold lmao.”
Another shared a similar opinion, as they said, “I love me some Firing Aim Stability. One of the most important stats I incorporate on builds. I’m going to be investigating how good this is on weapons that have a lot of visual recoil.”
Due to the similar aesthetic, players are comparing this new optic to the Mk. 3 Reflector, which is a popular close-range choice across Warzone and MW3.
While some are opting for the JAK Glassless Optic over the Mk. 3, others are not convinced, as in a separate Reddit post about the JAK Glassless Optic, one player said, “It’s like a sh***ier version of the mk3.”
“MK3 reflector but make it worse,” commented another. However, as one user mentions, firing aiming stability is a “pretty important recoil stat,” and so while the Mk. 3 Reflector is “more clean,” the new sight is better for “recoil,” and may be more beneficial to use on certain builds.
We’ll have to wait and see if the optic catches on and becomes the new meta optic, as the community seems to be pretty split at the moment.
