Warzone players have discovered a way to use locked attachments on weapons and use them in your loadout.

Warzone Season 3 has introduced new weapons for players to get their hands on, but you’ll need to level them up and unlock the best attachments for them to be competitive in the battle royale. However, one player has found a way to bypass this grind and use attachments that you don’t have unlocked in your loadout.

Content creator ‘Robstarr’ shared a glitch on X that revealed a way for players to run locked attachments on their Warzone loadout in Season 3. The method has been seen and patched before in Warzone, but it seems like the Season 3 update has activated the glitch again.

According to Robstarr, all you need to do is:

  1. Head into Private Match.
  2. Create a loadout with the weapon and attachments of your choice.
  3. After selecting the attachments, save the build as a Custom Mod while on the attachments screen (L2/LT on controller).
  4. Back out of Private Match and go into Warzone.
  5. Before searching for a match, go to your loadouts.
  6. Locate the saved Custom Mod and select the weapon to use it on the loadout.

If you follow these steps correctly, you will be able to use a Warzone weapon build with any attachments you like, as in Private Match all the attachments are unlocked regardless of weapon level.

This method has been seen a couple of times before in Warzone, and each time it has been patched so we expect it to be fixed pretty soon again. However, it’s certainly something you can enjoy for the time being, especially if you want to use and level up the new MORS Sniper Rifle and FJX Horus SMG while using the best attachments to make them competitive options.
