Warzone expert’s underrated “hitscan” rifle build dominates long-range meta

Warzone expert WhosImmortal has shared an OP loadout for a rifle that most players are ignoring, claiming it’s “hitscan” at all ranges thanks to some of the most ridiculous numbers in the entire game.

The MCW 6.8 has struggled to make a name for itself in Warzone since launch. While the MTZ Interceptor had its time in the spotlight, its fellow Marksman Rifles have been mostly ignored in favor of stronger long-range options like Sniper Rifles or LMGs.

However, CoD expert WhosImmortal has shared a build that could completely change its fortunes, claiming it’s one of the most OP guns that Urzisktan has to offer.

In a March 24 upload to his YouTube channel, the streamer claimed that the rifle’s “insane” bullet velocity stats mean it’s “hitscan” at all ranges, meaning there is no delay between you pulling the trigger and hitting the target, making it much easier to land shots.

“This thing’s velocity numbers are like none other and that’s what’s broken about this,” he explained. “On top of that, the MCW 6.8 has a crazy TTK when you’re hitting shots to begin with as is, especially over range. If you’re accurate with this thing, very, very few options are going to be able to outgun you.”

You can check out WhosImmortal’s ideal loadout below.

  • Muzzle: VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor
  • Barrel: MCW Crown-30 Barrel
  • Optic: Corio Eagleseye 2.5x
  • Ammunition: 6.8 Wrath Spire Point Rounds
  • Magazine: 60 Round Drum

WhosImmortal’s best MCW 6.8 loadout in Warzone doubles down on its impressive bullet velocity numbers, ensuring that there is “not a fight you can take in this game” where shots don’t land immediately without having to anticipate the enemy’s movements.

With this setup, the content creator believes that the Marksman Rifle has what it takes to completely take over the long-range meta and become one of the best weapons in the game.

The Warzone Season 3 update will bring a fresh slate of buffs and nerfs, so there’s every chance the MCW 6.8 could be on the receiving end of some changes. However, until then, it’s well worth trying out on both Urzikstan and Resurgence.
