The Verdansk days of the original Warzone remain special to players to this day and CoD expert FaZe Swagg has recreated a classic Assault Rifle from that era on Urzikstan.

Warzone has had plenty of maps over the years, from Al Mazrah to Season 1’s Urizikstan, but none are as popular as Verdansk, the original map that players loved when the battle royale first launched all the way back in 2020.

While Verdansk is no longer available in Warzone, there are a number of weapons from that beloved era in the game, such as the Bruen Mk9. For those iconic guns that haven’t made the move to Urzikstan, players often have to be clever and use what’s available to recreate them.

CoD expert FaZe Swagg has done exactly that, bringing a classic Verdansk Assault Rifle back to the game. In his December 28 video, Swagg used the MTZ-556 to create a rifle that looked and felt like the M13, an AR that dominated the early days of Warzone.

“[It] was a fan-favorite because it had an insane fire rate, no recoil, and obviously you’ve got to put the blue holo-dot on there,” the YouTuber explained. “This gun is almost the exact replica of it.”

Check out Swagg’s build to transform the MTZ-556 into the classic M13 in Warzone below.

Swagg’s M13 loadout in Warzone Season 1

  • Barrel: MTZ Drifter Heavy Long Barrel
  • Muzzle: VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor
  • Underbarrel: Bruen Heavy Support Grip
  • Optic: SZ Lonewolf Optic
  • Magazine: 50 Round Drum

According to Swagg, this MTZ-556 build has everything you need to bring the M13 to Warzone again. The MTZ Drifter Heavy Long Barrel and VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor buff the Assult Rifle’s range and velocity, allowing it to hold its own in longer-range gunfights.

Then, the Bruen Heavy Support Grip keeps its recoil and gun kick in check, ensuring you can land shots accurately. 50 Round Drums are also essential, so you can deal with multiple enemies before having to reload.

Finally, the SZ Lonewolf Optic adds the iconic blue dot, which brings an extra layer of authenticity to the M13 build that players will appreciate.

So, if you’re looking for an extra slice of nostalgia in Warzone Season 1, give this loadout a try in your next match. For more, be sure to check out the best FOV settings to run, as well as how to get Prime Gaming rewards.
