Forgotten Warzone rifle with “zero recoil” is meta again thanks to rapid TTK

The Warzone meta is always evolving as players discover new builds, and CoD expert FaZe Swagg has revealed the forgotten rifle that actually kills faster than the game’s best guns and has “zero recoil.”

Since the Season 2 update went live, Warzone’s meta has been one of the most competitive we’ve seen. That being said, there are always a handful of weapons that rise to the top, such as the MTZ-556 or the RAM-7 despite its nerf.

But when it comes to long-range, there are still plenty of underrated options that can more than hold their own against the top picks. In fact, in some cases, these obscure weapons can even turn out to be stronger than the ones that are dominating matches.

In his March 3 video, Warzone pro FaZe Swagg claimed that the BAS-B is one of the best guns in the entire game for long-range fights. Players will remember that the Battle Rifle was once the king of Urzikstan when it first launched, but it has been largely forgotten about as other weapons have taken its place.

However, the YouTuber felt that the recoil benefits offered by the new JAK Glassless Optic means that the BAS-B is ready to become a meta contender once again, as it shoots incredibly straight and has a stronger TTK than its rivals.

Check out his best BAS-B loadout for Warzone Season 2 below.

Swagg’s best BAS-B loadout in Warzone

  • Barrel: Bruen Venom Long Barrel
  • Muzzle: Casus Break L
  • Underbarrel: Bruen Heavy Support Grip
  • Optic: JAK Glassless Optic
  • Magazine: 45 Round Mag

Swagg’s best BAS-B loadout in Warzone focuses on accuracy, which is why he ran the Bruen Venom Long Barrel, Casus Break L, and the Bruen Heavy Support Grip. However, the star of the show was the JAK Glassless Optic, which improves the aiming fire stability to virtually eliminate visual recoil.

“Let me tell you, it literally has zero recoil and it kills so quick which is insane. It kills faster than the [RAM-7] and the [MTZ 762],” Swagg explained, before adding that it absolutely “shreds” in long-range encounters.

So, if you’re looking to mix things up with a new loadout in Warzone, consider taking this setup for a spin. The Season 2 Reloaded update is set to introduce even more weapons like the SOA Subverter, so only time will tell if the BAS-B remains a meta option.
