Warzone expert reveals perfect Sniper build to counter nerfs

Warzone Season 1 Reloaded brought some major nerfs to the best Sniper in the game, but luckily expert IceManIsaac has a build to counter them.

The Warzone Season 1 Reloaded update didn’t just bring new content to the game, but as with every major patch, the devs also decided to bring some buffs and nerfs to various weapons.

One of the Warzone weapons that was hit the hardest by nerfs was the KATT-AMR, which had its meta barrel attachment’s damage range and bullet velocity reduced.

While many players were outraged with the nerfs to Warzone’s “only usable” Sniper, battle royale expert IceManIsaac has revealed a “very different build” to the one that players had been using prior to the mid-season update.

IceManIsaac’s new Warzone KATT-AMR build counters the bullet velocity and damage range nerfs, and according to the expert, is “a lot of fun to use.”

IceManIsaac’s Warzone KATT-AMR loadout

Muzzle: Sonic Suppressor XL
Ammunition: .50 Cal High Velocity
Bolt: Ephemeral Quickbolt
Optic: Heinricter Hybrid Scope
Laser: Corio LAZ-44 V3

Kicking off this Warzone KATT-AMR build, IceManIsaac opts for the Sonic Suppressor XL muzzle for the added damage range and bullet velocity, balancing out the nerfs the weapon received in the Season 1 Reloaded update.

Next, the .50 Cal High Velocity ammunition will further improve the weapon’s bullet velocity, while the Ephemeral Quickbolt allows you to rechamber faster to get your next shot off as soon as possible.

Lastly, the Heinricter Hybrid Scope is perfect for switching zoom levels for different targets, and paired with the Corio LAZ-44 V3, both of these attachments will improve the weapon’s aim down sight speed.

These attachments are great as not only do they help improve the nerfed stats for the KATT-AMR, but they also don’t come at a cost of aim down sight speed, which is essential for sniping in Warzone.
