A number of Warzone LMGs were handed nerfs in the Season 1 Reloaded update, and so CoD expert WhosImmortal has revealed which underrated gun is set to step up and fill the void in the meta.

The Warzone meta is constantly shifting and evolving as the devs release more new weapons as well as buffs and nerfs with each update. Season 1 Reloaded brought a huge lineup of balancing changes, knocking a number of popular guns down the pecking order.

LMGs were one of the categories hit hardest by the update, with favorites like the Bruen Mk9, TAQ Eradictaor, and Pulemyot 762 all catching nerfs. This blew the long-range meta wide open, leaving many players wondering what to use.

Luckily, Warzone guru WhosImmortal has revealed which underrated LMG actually “fries” when compared to its rivals.

In his January 30 video the YouTuber focused on the Holger 26, which didn’t receive a nerf and now has a TTK that is virtually identical to the meta LMGs, while also being “low recoil” and extremely “easy to use.”

He also described the gun as a “laserbeam” at long-range, before adding: “This thing is definitely a sleeper gun but [it’s] right up there with the other best LMGs.” Check out his best Holger 26 loadout in Warzone below.

WhosImmortal’s best Holger 26 in Warzone

  • Muzzle: VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor
  • Barrel: Holger Factory Barrel
  • Underbarrel: Bruen Heavy Support Grip
  • Optic: Corio Eagleseye 2.5X
  • Stock: Ascent Lord Stock

WhosImmortal kicked off his best Holger 26 Warzone with the VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor and Holger Factory Barrel, which buffs the LMG’s damage range and bullet velocity while keeping some of its recoil in check.

He also went for the Bruen Heavy Support Grip and Ascent Lord Stock for even more accuracy buffs, virtually eliminating the gun’s recoil and making it incredibly straightforward to land shots. Finally, he added the Corio Eagleseye 2.5X but urged players to pick whichever Optic they prefer.

So, if you’re looking for a long-range monster in Warzone after the LMGs were nerfed, give this build a go in your next visit to Urzikstan.
