Black Ops 4 to get ‘Supply Stream’ system to unlock gear as you progress through tiers – Update
Based upon a new Call of Duty blog post, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will be getting a new ‘Supply Stream’ system for loot, where players can earn and unlock new gear as you progress through the different tiers.
The different tier system will allow players to unlock “the newest Uniforms, Weapon Variants and Emotes” in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. In addition, the Call of Duty blog post states that those who own the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Black Ops Pass will be able to “skip” 10 tiers with every new season in the game.
The brand-new Supply Stream system now grants you new gear as you progress through tiers. While other players are required to reach each tier organically, Black Ops Pass members can skip 10 tiers per season. What’s that mean? In short, you’ll get the chance to own the newest Uniforms, Weapon Variants and Emotes before everybody else.
The information has not been announced before, but the link to this Call of Duty Blog Post was included in an email Activision was sending out highlighting the different items in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. The blog post details the benefits of the Black Ops Pass.
Activision has since removed this blog post from their website, so it’s not clear if this went up early or the information is inaccurate. Black Ops 4 is one of the first Call of Duty games since Call of Duty: Ghosts that does not have a sort of loot system in game at launch. There’s no way to get more Specialist outfits or gestures at all in game, unless you picked up a higher edition of the game at launch.
Activision has not stated anything about this yet, so we’ll update as we learn more information.
