With the big changes to health regeneration announced, there’s also some changes to what players can equip in-game to better counter and be prepared.

The Pick 10 system from Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is back in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.

Players can select primary weapons, attachments, secondary weapons, equipment, gear (brand new category, which we expand upon below), perks, and wildcards, as long as there’s only 10 items. There’s a lot of options available for players to choose creating their classes in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.

A new category of items called Gear is available in Black Ops 4’s Create a Class. Because of the new health generation system, there’s new features and set of items to pick from for players. Players can select from different items in the Gear category – like body armor (which will slightly increase amount of protection against first shots that hit you), stem pack (which allows faster and more often health regeneration compared to normal), acoustic sensor to better hear and see around you, and other options to pick from.

One of the things you will also notice in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is that, as of this build, shotguns are considered a secondary weapon. Primary features Assault Rifles, SMGs, a new category called Tactical Rifles, LMGs, and Snipers. Secondary includes pistols, launchers, and shotguns.
