MW3 players shocked by “crazy” amount of content in Season 3
ActivisionMW3’s next major update is the Season 3 patch, and the roadmap detailing all of the content for the new patch has left the community stunned.
MW3 Season 2 is winding down, as the devs have shared their first details on MW3 Season 3, which is bringing a ton of new content.
In fact, the new Season 3 update for MW3 is bringing so much content that Call of Duty fans have been left stunned. The new season is shaping up to be the biggest content drop for MW3 since launch, as it promises new weapons, maps, modes, and much more.
Underneath a Reddit post highlighting the MW3 Season 3 roadmap, players were shocked to see how much content the devs have been working on for the update.
“6 mp maps is crazy,” said one player, to which another compared it to MW2’s seasonal content drops, “That’s 2-3 seasons worth of MW2 content.”
Some are already excited to get their hands on the new maps, specifically one that players are claiming is reminiscent of an iconic Black Ops 2 map.
Many have been praising Sledgehammer Games in the comments, “You know SHG locked in when there are 6 mp maps next season,” while another said, “Jesus SHG is actually going crazy this year. We’ve never had this much consistent post-launch content before. Not even close.”
Players hope that future seasons can provide as much content as MW3 Season 3 is promising, as one user commented, “It’s a whole new game, I can’t wait.”
MW3 is set to receive six seasons in total before Call of Duty 2024 arrives, and players will be hoping that each one is as jam-packed as Season 3.
