Headquarters Flak Gun tower event appears to be live in some regions for testing

Prior to Call of Duty: WWII’s launch, Sledgehammer Games hinted that there would be dynamic events in Call of Duty: WWII’s Headquarters. The feature was not in game at launch because of issues the game experienced with Headquarters during the launch phase.

Last week, Condrey teased on Reddit that the Flak Gun event is coming soon, and it appears that SHG has started to roll out/test the event in some regions for some users. Users are reporting that in HQ, the Flak Gun event notification goes live with the objective of controlling the flak gun in HQ and taking out the enemy aircraft which flies above. Supply Drop is awarded during the event and the user who controls the flak gun gets bonus social score. The event is supposed to occur every 30 minutes in HQ.

It’s not clear yet when this feature is officially rolling out worldwide, so stay tuned.
