The Jackal PDW has quickly become known as the best gun in Black Ops 6’s beta, but you’ll need the best loadout possible to take full advantage of the powerful SMG.

The first weekend of the beta has been dominated by the Jackal, a highly mobile and easy-to-use submachine gun that’s almost impossible to beat up close. While ARs like the XM4 are also very powerful, it’s impossible to go wrong with the Jackal.

To make sure you’ve got the best chance possible to dominate, here’s the best Jackal PDW loadout for Black Ops 6‘s beta including attachments, Perks, and Equipment.

Best BO6 Jackal PDW loadout attachments

  • Muzzle: Compensator
  • Barrel: Long Barrel
  • Underbarrel: Ranger Foregrip
  • Magazine: Extended Mag 1
  • Rear Grip: CQB Grip

This high-mobility Jackal PDW loadout is perfect for rushing enemies and using omnimovement to finesse. Not all fights will be up close though, so the Compensator and Long Barrel are essential for staying accurate and dealing damage at those longer ranges.

The Ranger Foregrip helps with horizontal recoil while also improving your movement speed, and the CQB Grip lets you shoot while diving and sliding, letting you take full advantage of omnimovement. Finally, the Extended Mag 1 ensures you can take down multiple enemies before having to reload.

Best Perks & Equipment to use with Jackal PDW

  • Wildcard: Perk Greed
  • Perk 1: Ghost
  • Perk 2: Dexterity
  • Perk 3: Double Time
  • Bonus Perk: Gung-Ho
  • Lethal Equipment: Semtex
  • Tactical Equipment: Stim

First, you want to ensure you have the Perk Greed Wildcard equipped to get an extra Perk. Then, take Ghost as it’ll hide you from enemy UAVs when moving, planting a bomb, or using a Killstreak.

Next, take both Dexterity and Gung-Ho from the second Perk slot. Now, you can reload while sprinting and stay accurate while jumping, diving, and sliding, which is a huge bonus when using a high-mobility SMG. Then, use Double Time to increase your Tactical Sprint duration.

This way, you have three red Perks equipped which means you have the Enforcer Speciality, where killing enemies gives you a major health regen and movement speed boost.

For Equipment, Semtex is a solid choice to deal quick damage to enemies you can’t see, and the Stim immediately gets you back in the fight. Finally, the Assault Pack will keep your streak alive by replenishing your ammo and Equipment, making the Nuke slightly easier to get.

How to unlock Jackal PDW in Black Ops 6 beta

The Jackal is one of the first guns you’ll unlock in the beta.

The Jackal PDW is unlocked by reaching Rank 10 in the BO6 beta. This shouldn’t take too long, just grind out a few matches and you’ll have it unlocked and ready to use.

Plus, it’s available in a default loadout so you can get a headstart on leveling it up for attachments before you equip it to a custom class.

Best alternatives

If you haven’t unlocked the Jackal yet or want to try something else, the C9 SMG is another deadly choice. Or, if you prefer long-range then the XMG is another strong option.
