While Warzone 2 Season 1 Reloaded’s Combat Record has been delayed, Infinity Ward have confirmed that leaderboards are also in the works and are “coming soon.”

The ultimate goal in any battle royale game is to be the last player or team standing, so while stats such as kill-to-death ratio are important, a Warzone 2 player’s win rate is often deemed a true test of their skill.

Modern Warfare 2’s Combat Record finally arrived with the Season 1 launch, but it didn’t feature any Warzone 2 stats. Battle royale stats were supposed to arrive with Season 1 Reloaded but it was confirmed the day before the update that it has been delayed indefinitely.

Warzone 2 players who have been grinding wins and dropping nukes since the game’s November 16 launch were devastated to learn none of their stats ahead of Season 1 Reloaded would count, and there’s no guarantee that future stats will count either.

Usually, a Combat Record comes in hand with a leaderboard showing who has the highest K/D or most wins in the world. Although Warzone 2’s Combat Record was supposed to arrive, the leaderboards were never on the slate for Season 1 Reloaded.

Infinity Ward confirmed in a Q&A with creators that the leaderboard will be arriving “soon.” But, there’s no guarantee it’ll arrive at the same time as the Combat Record as neither has been given a date.

Season 2 is expected to arrive on February 1, 2023, with another Reloaded update in March. We’ll know more about Season 2’s content nearer to the time, but the devs intend on bringing a Combat Record for DMZ during Season 2 as well.
