Warzone 2’s Season 1 Reloaded update revealed new information about a brand-new DMZ area for players to loot and explore, so here’s everything we know about Building 21.

Warzone 2’s DMZ mode shies away from the traditional battle royale experience, giving players free rein to explore Al Mazrah, loot for gear and weapons, and complete missions for exclusive rewards.

Players have been loving the mode and it got even more content with December 14’s Season 1 Reloaded update. The devs have confirmed that it received a brand-new area, so here’s everything we know about DMZ’s new location: Building 21.

Warzone 2 DMZ Building 21 area explained

Building 21 is currently accessible in DMZ, after it was not available on the day of the Season 1 Reloaded update. While Infinity Ward confirmed that as of December 19 Building 21 is accessible, players have a limited window to find the new location.

Warzone 2 players who successfully found access cards can begin their search for DMZ’s Building 21. The devs have not revealed where to find the keys so it’ll be up to players to discover the specific locations.

Although not much is known about DMZ’s new Building 21, we know that it’s “one of the deadliest areas of DMZ,” bringing a tough challenge and “high-tier Contraband.”

Players won’t want to waste time as the devs confirm that the “window to strike is limited” and anyone who misses out “will have to wait for future deployments.”

How to access Building 21 in DMZ

To access Building 21 in Warzone 2’s DMZ, it appears you’ll have to find a key in Al Mazrah. While the devs are keeping the actual process a secret, they confirmed that “new keys have appeared in Al Mazrah.”

We do know that the area is in a separate location that’s not Al-Mazrah. It appears there will be some secret challenge within DMZ, and completing it grants access to the brand-new Building 21 area.
