Warzone players keep getting frozen in place by Fortune’s Keep’s broken areas

Warzone players love Season 4’s Fortune’s Keep map, but certain areas of the map are ruining the experience by completely locking players in place.

Warzone’s smaller Rebirth Island map has always been a hit, and Season 4’s Fortune’s Keep has emulated its success. Players love the bright Mediterranean color scheme, parkour spots, and dynamic gameplay.

However, a few frustrating issues have gotten in the way. Players are finding their way under the map and behind walls for cheap kills, and now players are getting trapped in place by broken spots on the map.

Smugglers cove POI in Warzone Fortune's Keep

As we can see in the video from Reddit user Gerbytron, they went prone in a corner to hide from an Airstrike but ended up completely stuck in the corner. As they tried everything they could to wriggle free, the final opponent stumbled across them lying face-first into a wooden crate and quickly ended their suffering.

Several players took to the comments to confirm that this wasn’t a one-off, with another user confirming they also got stuck in the Watchtower at Fortune’s Keeps Winery POI.

illmatic_gg claimed that a street curb managed to trap them in place, and Evberkel has been caught in a window a couple of times. “I feel like [Fortune’s Keep] has a lot of spots like this that you just get stuck in,” explained ultra_zagan.

But there do seem to be a couple of ways that you can wrench yourself free from these broken spots. One user explained that using a Stim can release you, but said that it doesn’t always work. Plus, if you have a Self-Revive, you can down yourself with an explosive and then crawl away to self-res.

Raven Software have fixed issues like this, including the dreaded Buy Station freeze glitch, in the past, so hopefully, players won’t be getting trapped in place for much longer.

The next major update is Season 4 Reloaded, scheduled for late July, but there might be a few bug fixes and balance changes ahead of the mid-season update.
