Raven Software might consider taking onboard one Warzone player’s suggestion regarding a visual improvement that could make team games like Duo, Trios, and Quads easier to communicate.

During a team game of Warzone, a lot is going on and there is a lot of information to keep up with. This is why a simple idea could dramatically improve teamwork and cohesion during multi-man matches such as Duos, Trios, and Quads.

Misinformation can be the downfall of a team as they approach endgame conditions, as someone thinks one of their teammates has more armor than they do, etc. To remedy this, one Warzone player believes they have come up with a simple solution to fix the game’s HUD.

“Have you got any plates?” is a sentence that has probably been uttered countless times since Call of Duty: Warzone’s launch.

If you’re unsure of what this means, plates are Armor Plates, the game’s method of applying shields to protect your main health bar from taking damage. The question is regularly posed, along with questions about other aspects of a teammates inventory, and Reddit user BurterSpeed has revealed their idea to amend this issue.

“A small quality of life improvement,” was the name of the title, and it was accompanied by a photoshopped graphic of a traditional multi-man Warzone HUD. As well as the usual details such as the player’s name, money total, and self-revive status, they’ve added even more information.

The improved version now shows how many plates each user has, the condition of any equipped Gas Masks, their ammo count, Killstreaks, and Field Upgrades.

One user said that this incarnation of the idea is “Wayy too busy. I like the plates one. But the AR one is pointless, thats not the only ammo type.” However, the general consensus is that the armor plates aspect is very useful and “is a really good idea.”

AlkkyTheBest suggested that if there’s too much information present then “make a settings option to turn on/off each piece of info. Best of both worlds.”

Regardless of which side of the fence you reside on, there definitely feels like an idea or two here that could be used to enhance the Warzone teammate experience, especially for those without headsets.
