New Warzone 2 DMZ leaks are suggesting that a “reputation” system could come to the mode in the near future, which would give players the option to be hostile or friendly with AI.

AI has gone through many changes since launch in both Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2, as devs try to find the right balance between making them strong, but not overpowered. This has also been the case in DMZ, where players encounter AI the most, aside from MW2’s Raids and the Campaign.

In the DMZ, there are many factions of AI to deal with, and it can be easy to get overwhelmed by AI forces. However, according to leaks, the devs have been working on a new “reputation” system to ease the pressure of AI attacks on the player in DMZ.

Call of Duty leakers Task Force Leakers 141 put a post on Twitter revealing “future DMZ content” based on code added to the game in Season 2 Reloaded.

What these leakers supposedly found is a new “factions reputation and trust system,” in which players can find “barter contracts” which allow them to “build reputation with each faction.”

Further, according to the leak, this new reputation system will also impact Buy Stations, as depending on your reputation with the faction, there will be different rewards.

Ultimately, the main idea is that depending on your relationship with the factions, they will either be “hostile/friendly” towards the player depending on their “reputation and actions.”

We’ll have to wait and see how accurate these leaks are as future updates to DMZ are announced and released.
