Warzone AR Automaton

The Automaton is experiencing somewhat of a resurgence in Warzone Season 2 and its friendly recoil pattern is earning it the title of easiest weapon to use.

Vanguard’s most popular Assault Rifle has experienced a roller coaster of a ride since its integration into Warzone Pacific. It quickly became a top choice amongst elite Warzone players before receiving a damning nerf during Season 1.

However, a previous update returned the AR to its former glory and it is now considered the “easiest” weapon to use in Warzone Pacific Season 2. If you struggle with controlling recoil and aiming then the Automaton could be your saving grace as you chase Warzone wins.

According to WZRanked, the Automaton currently sits at 15 on the list of most used Warzone weapons. The recent buffs it received surely allowed it to rise up the ranks and the weapon also boasts a 1.17 K/D ratio which is good enough for 7th overall.

The buff decreased recoil and recoil deviation making it much easier to control if players equip the optimal attachments. IceManIsaac recently put together a video detailing how the Automaton can turn into the easiest gun to use in Warzone.

  • Muzzle: MX Silencer
  • Barrel: ZAC 600 BFA
  • Optic: M38/Slate 2.5x Custom
  • Underbarrel: Carver Foregrip
  • Stock: Anastasia Padded
  • Magazine: 6.5mm Sakura 75 Round Drums
  • Ammunition: Lengthened
  • Rear Grip: Polymer Grip
  • Perk 1: Tight Grip
  • Perk 2: Fully Loaded

IceManIsaac uses some attachments you may be familiar with but a few inclusions certainly set it apart from anything we’ve seen before. For starters, the ZAC 600 BFA is the top Automaton barrel for Season 2.

The ZAC 600 BFA is preferred over the Anastasia Sniper barrel due to its added horizontal recoil control. The other key attachment that must be equipped is the M38/Slate 2.5x Custom, which turns the Automaton into a laser beam.

The remaining attachments are standard for Warzone Assault Rifle loadouts as the Polymer Grip and Carver Grip also contribute to increasing weapon stability.
