Swagg responds to claims he shouldn’t get a Warzone 2 skin like NICKMERCS & TimTheTatman
After news broke about potential Warzone 2 content creator Operator skins, Swagg weighed in on the community’s belief that he shouldn’t get one.
Warzone 2 has had many Operator collabs, allowing players to drop into battle royale matches as Shredder from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or even footballing superstar Messi.
The Season 3 Reloaded announcement also revealed the Kevin Durant Operator bundle, so it’s likely that even more collaborations are on the way. Rumor has it, popular content creators TimTheTatman and NICKMERCS will be getting their very own Operator skins for Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.
This led to the question of which other Call of Duty content creators deserve an Operator skin for Warzone 2 and of course, FaZe Swagg‘s name popped up.
Some comments under FaZe Santana’s suggestion that FaZe Swagg deserves a Warzone 2 Operator skin disagreed with the sentiment, as one user said “Swagg? cmon…” and another even claimed that Swagg is only “known because of Nick.”
Swagg responded to the discourse, by tweeting: “Funny reading the replies when I have nearly 900 million views on one title.” Clearly, FaZe Swagg feels he’s done more than enough in the space to earn himself at least a mention when it comes to content creators getting Operator skins.
Further, Swagg also shared his opinion on “creators getting skins,” saying that it’s a “good thing for everyone,” and “hopefully they do more.”
The FaZe member received some love under his response, as ModernWarzone said “If they ever do more you certainly have my vote for deserving one,” while another comment read “you are the first person I thought of that should be getting a skin.”
We’ll have to see if the leaks surrounding a NICKMERCS and TimTheTatman Operator skin for Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 are true, but if they are, perhaps more will be in the works for other popular streamers such as Swagg.
