Over 50 million players have played Call of Duty: Warzone in one month

Activision has now announced that Call of Duty: Warzone continues to see success since its March 10 launch.

Call of Duty: Warzone has been played by over 30 million players since the game officially launched worldwide on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on March 10.Advertisement

This is the first big free to play venture for Activision on consoles and PC, bringing their largest franchise to more people by removing the $60 barrier that has existed for a long time.

The news was announced by Call of Duty on Twitter this afternoon.

Infinity Ward updated Warzone with Season 3 on April 8, which brought Quads, new loot pool, and return of Trios. Patch notes for that are available here.
