JGOD reveals Warzone Season 4 Reloaded's best long-range weapon

Warzone Season 4 Reloaded included perhaps the most significant weapon balance update that Call of Duty’s battle royale has ever seen. Luckily, Warzone stats man JGOD has revealed the best long-range weapon following the Reloaded update.

Warzone’s devs, Raven Software, have explained that they’re looking to raise Warzone’s time to kill (TTK) across the board. The Season 4 Reloaded update was the “first major step” towards doing this, where they made significant changes to a ton of weapons.

The best guns ahead of Season 4 Reloaded, the FARA 83 and the C58, had their damage reduced and recoil increased, and some outliers such as the Krig 6 received a small buff. This has significantly impacted the meta, but YouTuber JGOD was there to break each weapon down and reveal Warzone Season 4’s long-range meta weapon.

Ahead of Warzone Season 4 Reloaded, the FARA 83 and C58 dominated the meta. With no recoil and a solid TTK, the FARA was incredibly easy to use. The C58 was a little bit harder to control, but its damage and range potential made it a strong choice in the hands of skilled players.

Now, these weapons have seen some significant nerfs, so the meta has opened up again. Some underutilized weapons such as the Krig 6 and the QBZ received some small buffs, which prompted YouTuber JGOD to break down Warzone’s new long-range meta.

JGOD believes that the Krig 6 is now Warzone’s long-range meta weapon, with its minimal recoil and “reliable” TTK making it a great choice for the average player. He compared it to the pre-nerf Kilo 141, which was so popular because of how easy it was to use.

However, JGOD clarified that just because the Krig 6 is the meta weapon doesn’t mean it’s the best. He divided the weapons into high, medium, and low-skill options, and the Krig appears to fit into each category.

For a high-skill weapon that experienced players can take advantage of, the C58 has remained a solid choice. But for lower-skilled players, the now-buffed QBZ could be a great option. It kills faster than the Krig and has less recoil, but JGOD explained that “for whatever reason, I like it but I don’t feel like it’s meta.”

The days when weapons such as the DMR 14 and AUG dominated every engagement appears to be gone. The meta is now far more open, and far more weapons can now be considered among Warzone’s best.
