Warzone DMR 14

Black Ops Cold War’s DMR 14 is a mean weapon if used right, and it can absolutely annihilate the competition with complementary attachments. Here’s a perfect loadout to dominate enemies with it in Warzone Season 5.

Warzone Season 5 brought a plethora of exciting new content to explore. This included dangerous new guns like the EM2 and TEC-9, and now the Reloaded update has shaken things up even more.

When it first arrived, Cold War’s DMR 14 proved to be formidable because of its minimal recoil and extremely high damage. It simply ruled Warzone Season 1, and Raven had to nerf it aggressively as a result.

While it’s no longer as popular as it once was, it received some new buffs at the beginning of Season 4, and now in Season 5. High-profile names such as FaZe’s Swagg have even vouched for it that’s viable again.

Here are the attachments and Perks to make the best Warzone DMR 14 loadout in Season 5.

Best Warzone DMR 14 loadout attachments

  • Muzzle: Agency Silencer
  • Barrel: 17” Rapid Fire
  • Optic: Axial Arms 3x
  • Underbarrel: Field Agent Foregrip
  • Ammo: 30 Rnd Speed Mag

To start off, we’ll equip the Agency Silencer to boost the damage range and keep you hidden from mini-maps.

We’ll try to improve its fire rate with the 17” Rapid Fire barrel, and the Field Agent Foregrip will further reduce recoil so that you can keep your shots under control.

For optics, we’ve gone with the Axial Arms 3x scope. It’s mostly down to preference, but the 3x provides perfect magnification without being too obtrusive. This is as close as you can get to Modern Warfare’s prevalent VLK scope.

Finally, select the 30 Rnd Speed Mag as they offer extra ammo and an increased reload time. This will come at the cost of slightly decreased ADS speed, but it’s worth it.

Best perks to run with Warzone DMR 14 class

Warzone Amped Perk
  • Perk 1: E.O.D
  • Perk 2: Overkill/Ghost
  • Perk 3: Combat Scout

Since you’ll mostly use this weapon in medium-range encounters, you’ll need protection against enemies with explosives. For that reason, we recommend equipping the E.O.D perk, which will reduce incoming explosive damage.

We recommend pairing this semi-automatic Tactical Rifle with an SMG such as the MAC-10 or MP5, so get the Overkill perk to select a secondary weapon. Go for Ghost on your second loadout drop so that you can hide from Heartbeat Sensors and UAVs.

For Warzone Season 5, you’re definitely going to be wanting to use the Combat Scout Perk, especially with the DMR. Land even a single shot on another player, and the game will live ping their location for the next five seconds.

Best DMR alternatives

There are a few viable alternatives to the DMR 14 that you can try out in combat. With minimal recoil and solid damage output, the M4 is great for mid-range combat, and you can pair it with a sniper rifle.

If you need a support weapon for fighting in these close-medium range engagements, the AK-47 is an excellent choice in Season 5 with its strong time-to-kill and high bullet velocity.
