The Warzone 2 Season 5 Reloaded update brings the Lachmann Shroud, a brand-new SMG looking to take over close to mid-range fights. Before you try it out in a match, here’s the best Lachmann Shroud loadout for Warzone 2 Season 5 Reloaded, complete with attachments, Perks, and more.

Warzone 2 Season 5 Reloaded has arrived and it’s another huge update for fans to get stuck into. The mid-season update brought back the Armored Royale LTM from the original game and added the 21 Savage Operator, along with a fresh batch of camo challenges.

It also came with a selection of extra weapons to unlock, including the Lachmann Shroud. This new SMG is essentially an updated version of the popular Lachmann Sub with a built-in suppressor and a three-round burst or semi-auto fire rate.

But before you take this latest SMG for a spin, we’ve put together the best Lachmann Shroud loadout in Warzone 2 Season 5 Reloaded, along with attachments, Perks, and Equipment.

Best Warzone 2 Lachmann Shroud loadout attachments

The Lachmann Shroud adds a built-in suppressor to the MP5.
  • Laser: VLK LZR 7MW
  • Stock: FT Mobile Stock
  • Rear Grip: Lachmann TCG-10
  • Magazine: 50 Round Mag
  • Ammunition: 9mm Sub OP

We kick off our best Lachmann Shroud loadout in Warzone 2 with the VLK LZR 7MW, buffing the SMG’s sprint-to-fire speed to make for the reduced fire rate by ensuring you land the first shots. We’ve paired this with the FT Mobile Stock, further improving the ADS speed and overall sprint speed for extra mobility.

Next up is the Lachmann TCG-10, offering greater recoil control to make the Lachmann Shroud more accurate at mid-range. 50 Round Mags are also essential for Warzone, as they allow players to deal with entire squads before having to reload.

Finally, the 9mm Sub OP rounds inflict target flinch on any enemy you hit, throwing off their shots and buying you valuable time.

Best Warzone 2 Lachmann Shroud loadout Perks & Equipment

MW2 Warzone 2 Season 5 Reloaded weapons
Warzone 2 Season 5 Reloaded brought a host of new weapons.
  • Base Perk 1: Overkill
  • Base Perk 2: Double Time
  • Bonus Perk: Fast Hands
  • Ultimate Perk: Ghost
  • Lethal Equipment: Semtex
  • Tactical Equipment: Flash Grenade

The best Warzone 2 Lachmann Shroud loadout isn’t complete without Perks, and we recommend starting with Overkill. This will allow you to run another primary weapon to help you in long-range fights, such as the Cronen Squall Battle Rifle.

Then we’ve gone for Double Time to increase the duration of your tactical sprint, ensuring you can stay light on your feet and rotate to new positions. Fast Hands then speeds up how quickly you reload and switch weapons, making it less likely for an enemy to catch you out.

Last up, Ghost is an essential Perk to keep you off the radar and counter the many UAVs that rival squads will use.

How to unlock Lachmann Shroud in Warzone 2

Warzone 2 players can unlock the Lachmann Shroud by completing all four initial challenges in Sector E0 in the Battle Pass, then getting 30 hipfire kills. This is a free section of the Battle Pass, but fans will have to tick off the Pickaxe, 9mm Daemon, and other challenges first before moving on to the SMG.

This means that the Lachmann Shroud takes a little more work to unlock than past weapons, but the challenges should be fairly easy to complete if you have access to Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer.

Best Lachmann Shroud alternatives in Warzone 2

If the Lachmann Shroud’s fire rate isn’t working for you in Warzone 2, the ISO 45 is arguably one of the best SMGs in the game thanks to its impressive TTK. On the other hand, the Vaznev-9k is a great all-round option that can hold its own at both close and mid-range.
