Modern Warfare 2 devs Infinity Ward dropped a small update on November 2 that finally allows players to edit their Profile Showcase while fixing various map exploits and bugs as well.

Modern Warfare 2 brought several ways for players to earn unique profile Calling Cards and Operator skins in the run-up to launch including campaign rewards, Twitch Drops, and promotions with companies such as Burger King and Mtn Dew.

But, a ton of players couldn’t change their Profile Showcase so were stuck with the Fender Operator and M4 in the lobby, but this issue has been resolved along with map exploits and bug fixes in Modern Warfare 2’s November 2 update.

Modern Warfare 2 Profile Showcase can be edited

Many Modern Warfare 2 players were stuck with the default Operator, Weapon, and Calling Cards as the Profile Showcase feature wouldn’t save their selections so lobbies were full of Fender carrying an M4.

Infinity Ward confirmed the issue has been fixed with Modern Warfare 2’s November 2 update, and players can finally display all of their earned Operators, Mastery Camos, Emblems, and Calling Cards.

Modern Warfare 2 map exploits & bug fixes in November 2 update

Infinity Ward confirmed that Modern Warfare 2’s November 2 update “also fixed various map exploits and bugs across the game,” but haven’t detailed what exactly has changed.

Players are desperate for the Riot Shield invincibility exploit to be fixed, but it appears to still be in the game following the November 2 update, and they’re also waiting on a UI overhaul.

We expect major changes with the Season 1 update on November 16, which also brings Warzone 2, DMZ, Hardcore mode, and a CDL Moshpit to tide players over until Ranked Play arrives in 2023.
