After months of waiting, Modern Warfare 2’s beta is almost here. There will be free rewards such as Weapon Blueprints and an Operator skin to earn while trying out the new weapons and maps, so here’s every reward and how to earn them.

The fan-favorite Modern Warfare franchise returns on October 28, with Modern Warfare 2’s highly anticipated multiplayer finally being revealed at September 15’s Call of Duty Next event. Almost immediately after, the beta kicks off allowing PlayStation players to experience some of the weapons and maps before it’s open to everyone else the following weekend.

If trying out the multiplayer early isn’t incentive enough, there are 10 free rewards to earn just for playing the game. Here’s every reward including Weapon Blueprints and an Operator skin, and their unlock requirements.

How to earn Modern Warfare 2 beta rewards

Modern Warfare 2 beta players don’t need to complete any challenges to earn the free rewards as they’re earned by leveling up. You’ll get a new reward every few levels all the way up to 30, so just play in both of the weekends until all of the rewards are yours.

The rewards up to level 15 are part of the first PlayStation-only weekend, but will also be available during the second weekend’s open beta. So, it appears that the level cap for the first PlayStation-exclusive weekend will be 15, and the level cap for the second weekend will be 30.

Can Modern Warfare 2 beta rewards be used immediately?

These Modern Warfare 2 beta rewards will become available as soon as you unlock them, so you can equip and use them during the beta.

Then, they’ll be waiting for you when Modern Warfare 2 arrives and can also be used in Warzone 2 when it launches. However, the beta is the only chance you’ll have to unlock them so be sure to reach Level 30.

Does Modern Warfare 2 beta progress carry over to launch?

Even though you’re unlocking new weapons and rewards while playing the Modern Warfare 2 beta, none of the player progression will carry over to the main game. You’ll be back to Level 1, but all of the beta rewards you’ve unlocked will be waiting for you at launch.
