Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 2 will introduce players to some brand-new weapons, so let’s go over every new gun coming to the game.

Season 2 of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 will arrive on February 15. The Season 2 update was delayed to give the devs more time to work on the state of the games.

It seems the added time has resulted in a ton of new content with Warzone 2 players receiving a new Resurgence map and Modern Warfare 2 players finally getting Ranked Play.

While new maps and modes will shake up both Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2, a total of five new weapons will also make their way to the games.

Let’s take a look at every weapon coming to Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 in Season 2.

Modern Warfare 2 & Warzone 2 Season 2 weapons

Players will receive five new weapons in Season 2 of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2, and the first four are all from different weapon classes.

Four of the five will arrive on day one of the Season 2 update, which is February 15, while the final weapon will arrive with the mid-season update.

In addition, “each new weapon comes with a brand-new set of camos to unlock for use across all your weapons.”

ISO Hemlock Assault Rifle

You’ll find the ISO Hemlock in the Season 2 Battle Pass.

The ISO Hemlock is shaping up to be a versatile new Assault Rifle that provides a “battlefield-advantage in any situation.” This bodes well for its utility in Warzone 2, and it could potentially be a fantastic Sniper support weapon.

Season 2’s ISO Hemlock will be available via the Battle Pass as a free unlock.

KV Broadside Shotgun

KV Broadside in Warzone 2A new semi-auto Shotgun will touch down in Season 2.

The Kastov Platform will receive its very first Shotgun with Season 2’s KV Broadside. It’ll be the fastest-firing semi-auto weapon in the Shotgun category.

CoD fans will recall just how powerful semi-auto Shotguns can be and Season 2’s KV Broadside will likely be devastating in Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2.

The KV Broadside Shotgun will arrive as a free weapon in the Season 2 Battle Pass.

Dual Kodachis

Modern Warfare 2 Dual Kodachis

The Dual Kodachis will provide more range as a Melee weapon than the standard knife in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.

Battle Royale players will recall just how powerful the Kali Sticks were in the original Warzone. It’ll be interesting to see if the Dual Kodachis can have a similar impact in Warzone 2.

The cost of the increased range will be a reduction in strafe and sprint speed.

Once again, the Dual Kodachis will appear as a free weapon in the Season 2 Battle Pass.

Crossbow

Those with pinpoint accuracy will benefit the most from the new Crossbow.

The Crossbow is making a return in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 2. The Crossbow may be difficult to wield, but it’ll be one of the deadliest weapons around in Season 2.

Season 2 will introduce a unique unlock requirement when it comes to the Crossbow. Players will have to partake in the Path of the Ronin Event. The Event will deliver seven challenges during Season 2.

Those who complete all seven of the Path of the Ronin challenges will unlock the Crossbow. Players will also be able to purchase a Store Bundle to unlock the new weapon.

Tempus Torrent Marksman Rifle

While little has been revealed about the weapon, the Tempus Torrent Marksman Rifle will arrive with the mid-season update. It will not be available at the start of Season 2, but players can expect to get their hands on the new Marksman Rifle throughout the season.
