CoD Mobile Season 6 To the Skies

Call of Duty Mobile Season 6: To the Skies brought a ton of new content, and here’s everything we know about it, including the full patch notes, new Favela map, and Battle Pass.

CoD Mobile developers Solid State Studios bring brand-new content through seasonal updates, with Season 5, titled Tropical Vision giving players a brand-new map, weapons, and other fun additions to enjoy.

Now, the Season 6 update has finally arrived, and the new update includes a classic Call of Duty map, as well as a Battle Pass with 50 tiers to progress through. We’ll go over everything in CoD Mobile Season 6.

CoD Mobile Jackal and Anti Air Gun Season 6

CoD Mobile Season 6 Favela map

Season 5’s Tropical Vision update brought the Apocalypse map that first appeared in Black Ops Cold War, and the devs confirmed in a Reddit thread that we would see the arrival of a map from a CoD title older than Black Ops 4 “in the next couple of seasons.”

On June 18, the developers officially confirmed that Favela from 2009’s Modern Warfare 2 is set to arrive in Season 6. However, the CoD Mobile version is actually an iteration of Favela from Call of Duty: Ghosts.

This multi-level map is set in the slums of Rio de Janeiro and features multiple two-story buildings along with rooftops that you can climb onto. While this map is large, close encounters are frequent, ensuring fast-paced action.

CoD Mobile Season 6 Jackal Fighter Jet

On June 21, the developers tweeted an image that showed part of an aerial vehicle, confirming the addition of the Jackal Fighter Jet which was previously rumored to arrive in CoD Mobile Season 5.

These destructive vehicles are exclusively available in the game’s battle royale, and are equipped with missiles, decoys, and a Gatling Gun. “While flying, your HUD will display other jets, whether enemy-controlled or friendly controlled or non-manned.”

There is also JACKAL: Fueled Up Themed Event in CoD Mobile Season 6 that allows players to earn rewards by securing fuels for the Roboticist Operator.

CoD Mobile Season 6 new weapons

The Oden Assault Rifle appeared in the test build and was added during Season 5, and that server also featured another weapon that has finally made its CoD Mobile debut in the Season 6 update.

The KSP 45 from Black Ops Cold War was found in the test server, and this three-shot burst SMG is available as the Tier 21 reward in the Season 6 Battle Pass. It boasts low recoil and is capable of dishing out a ton of pain to its targets at medium range.

In addition, the L-CAR 9 secondary pistol is another weapon found in the expired test server that is now available in CoD Mobile Season 6. Players can obtain this weapon by completing Seasonal Challenges.

This automatic pistol appeared in Black Ops III and boasts a high-capacity magazine as well as high burst damage that makes it ideal for close-range combat. While it has lower mobility compared with other pistols, it can be used to dish out a ton of pain.

CoD Mobile Season 6 Battle Pass rewards

New seasons of CoD Mobile always bring a new Battle Pass that you can progress through in order to unlock in-game rewards including new guns, Operator skins, and other cosmetic items.

Season 6 is no different, as it features a 50-Tier Battle Pass filled with free and premium rewards. These include the KSP 45, new Operator skins for Wraith and Reyes, as well as Blueprints for weapons like the JAK-12 and Man-O-War.

CoD Mobile Season 6 To The Skies patch notes

The CoD Mobile developers listed in detail all the balance adjustments and other changes in the Season 6 To The Skies update patch notes.

Here are the CoD Mobile Season 6 patch notes:

New Map

  • Favela

The fan-favorite map, Favela, has been officially added to the map pool! Fighters, watch out for the snipers coming at you from the rooftops when you engage in thrilling alley battles. Grab your medium-close range weapons and enjoy the game!

Mode Optimization

HP Mode Spawn Location Optimization

In the last release, we optimized the spawn location on some of the maps in HP Mode. However, a few logic and layout issues led to several unintended and unreasonable respawn situations (e.g., Slums and Miami Strike). After locating and fixing the problems on the corresponding maps, we have evaluated and diagnosed the remaining maps in HP Mode. We will continue to optimize the respawn experience in subsequent releases and hope our fighters to have a better combat experience in HP Mode.

Maps that received optimizations are as follows:

Slums, Miami Strike, Summit, Nuketown, Raid, Hackney Yard, Takeoff, and Standoff.

Ranked Match Update

We have increased the Rank XP for the MVP of the losing team in the MP Ranked Match, especially for players below the Legendary rank tier.

Battle Royale Update

New Vehicle – Jackal

  1. Refresh: A new limited-time fighter, the Jackal, is added to the Battle Royale! Players can track the fighter icon marked on the map to locate Jackals in the new airport runway areas. Each runway will spawn a fighter simultaneously, and each fighter will refresh on the runway when it is destroyed.
  2. Pilot: The left joystick can control the flight direction, while the right acceleration and deceleration buttons can control the flight speed. Please note that the Jackal will lose control when the flight speed is too slow. Please accelerate to regain control of the fighter.
  3. Weapons: Jackals can be equipped with cannons and missiles to target vehicles, which makes it an effective weapon on both the ground and air target attacks. Jackals can also be equipped with decoy bombs to remove the target lock of FHJ-18, hostile fighters, and anti-aircraft missiles. Last but not least, the Jackal is capable of detecting the location of enemies within a certain range, displaying the enemies as red dots on the map.

New Feature

Anti-Air Guns

· In Battle Royale, the Anti-Air Guns are deployed around the town! These Anti-Air Guns can be used to target and attack land vehicles and air units.

· Since each Anti-Air contains only four missiles, turrets with unused missiles will display a tracker indicator.

· Anti-Air will self-destruct in a short period of time after all its missiles are used.

Other Optimization

· Optimized the prompt UI of being down and collecting dog tags.

· Optimized the SFX of being down and collecting dog tags.
