OpTic NaDeSHoT has announced in a new video that he’s taking a break from competitive Call of Duty action. In the video, he stated that this is more of a break, rather than a retirement. His decision was based off of the fact that he felt like his own drive to win was not there anymore, rather just playing to not lose. Rather than put that in his way, he’s decided to step away and let another person fill in on OpTic Gaming.

Nadeshot has become one of the most successful eSports player in history; in December of 2014, he won the “eSports Player of the Year” award at the Game Awards.

UPDATE April 5th: OpTic Gaming has confirmed that their new fourth is Karma.
