Quite possibly the best map of the new crop. Crossroads has multiple excellent areas and is meticulously designed to create fun and frantic games.
Raid is another one to be checked off in the nostalgia column, but rightly so as this Hollywood house is unwittingly a tremendous location for a firefight.
Paying homage to the classic 1985 film – Back to the Future – The Pines is a stellar setting for tense, end-to-end games across a variety of exciting stores and outlets.
Some maps have that aura of invincibility as they can basically do no wrong, Moscow is a great example of this. It is well-balanced with memorable spots and it makes this a popular selection.
Unquestionably the most divisive map in this iteration of Call of Duty. Miami emphasized darkness in favor of those moments of neon glow, but the darkness does contain some great spots to use.
If you overlook the troublesome bushes that populate the middle of Cartel, then you’ll realize there’s a lot to love here. From battles in the hanger to tussles by the river, Cartel offers more than meets the eye.
A real-life game of battleships is the best way of describing Armada as you battle across, and under, two gigantic ships. With a contested bridge to fight for in the middle, this ship makes for trouble in the waters.
A military stronghold is a must for a game of this magnitude and Garrison does a fine job of living up to its billing with tanks and containers occupying all sectors for you to utilize.
The bowels of the jungle are here to welcome soldiers with its incredibly nervy and tight corners, and it offers players several elements of verticality and hidden spots too.
A gorgeous map that has its beauty ignored in favor of the map’s desire to make its Satellite worth fighting over. A multifaceted map that takes some learning, but once you do, you can reap the benefits.
