Baldur’s Gate 3 fans are overjoyed by an update introduced in Hotfix #15 that finally resolves one of the most annoying bugs that occurred while exploring Faerun. Here’s what the Baldur’s Gate 3 community had to say about it.

Baldur’s Gate 3 introduced with Hotfix #15 an update that solves two of the most reported issues after Patch 5. While players were certainly grateful to Larian Studios for fixing the glitch that turned NPCs into “eldritch horrors,” most of them thank devs for dealing with a particular game-breaking bug.

While it has become usual for Larian Studios to release frequent updates, there was a particular issue that made exploring the world of Faerun particularly difficult and also had become a big liability for those playing in Honor Mode.

In the Reddit post called “Is the suffering finally over?,” Baldur’s Gate 3 fans praised devs for fixing the problem that made some companions get stuck when trying to jump into platforms and even refuse to move if players didn’t backtrack to get them.

“The ‘See only two blue dots and sigh heavily’ era is over? Praise be!,” commented Reddit user ‘whoopsiefkndaisy.’ Other fans were also delighted by the news, saying that fixing this issue saved players a lot of time.

“It would be so annoying when I would see my companions didn’t follow then having to ungroup so no one jumped back to where the stuck companion was then have them jump to where everyone else was then group them again,” pointed out Redditor ‘Avlin_Starfal.’

Other Baldur’s Gate 3 players admitted that this bug was so frequent that they even incorporated it into how they were role-playing the story. “If this is true I’m gonna miss that personal feel, that staredown when I jump, but Astarion doesn’t, and he just stands there and looks at me, and I look at him, and it is silent disdain between us,” joked Reddit user ‘lolatmydeck.’

And that’s everything about what Baldur’s Gate 3 hotfix players enjoyed the most. If you want to know more about Larian Studios’ RPG, you can check why players defend save scumming at all costs and what players say about saving Minthara during a Honor mode playthrough.
