The Baldur’s Gate 3 narrator does not hold back while roasting Astarion and players are absolutely loving how the companion gets slammed during their playthroughs.

Baldur’s Gate 3 has been one of the most innovative RPG titles of 2023, with perfectly written characters and smooth combat, which is why it was voted the Game of the Year at The Game Awards.

Companions are a massive aspect of Baldur’s Gate 3 as it follows the renowned D&D playstyle. This is why players get to interact with various companions and develop deeper relationships as per personal preference in the game.

Although Astarion has always been one of the most famous and fan-favorite companions in BG3, fans do not shy away from an opportunity to have a laugh at his expense. The in-game narrator provides this chance as they ruthlessly roast him in Baldur’s Gate 3.

Reddit user ‘Live_Refrigerator_58’ shared a post about this in-game encounter as it showed how the narrator said: “Astarion’s sweet brain may be a bit less wrinkled than the rest, but you hunger for its teasing cells.”

The OP and several other players did not mind the insult as they added how the narrator casually called Astarion a “smooth brain.” Others joined the fun as they added how Astarion has been confirmed to be “dumb” canonically in Baldur’s Gate 3.

“I guess Astarion canonically has 8 INT, good to know” claimed one of the players. Others called him “a bit of a dummy” as everyone agreed that Astation was not one of the brightest minds in the game. “He isn’t a details guy” added another player about Astarion.

“The narrator didn’t have to eviscerate him like that” claimed one of the players sarcastically. Others agreed that “he is a little silly” in Baldur’s Gate 3.
